Hi! And WELCOME to my little neck of the internet woods. My name is Melissa, I'm from North West Illinois, uprooted myself during college, and got transplanted to SW Missouri. I live out in the middle of nowhere, down a long lane (see the picture on my homepage), the first place just pass the broken bridge. My husband and I live on 10 acres and we are trying to create a little homestead to raise our kiddos.
I'm a lover of cloth diapers, piano playing, fresh farm eggs, and trying my hand in canning fresh garden produce, animal raising, cooking from scratch, gentle parenting, and being Mama to two beautiful little girls. Feel free to follow along. There will be plenty of ups and downs, and sideway twists!
